Night fell at Rae Lakes. With that dropped the temperature like raindrops in the company of the gales of winds that never seemed to stop. Thankfully, the sky remained clear, letting me capture the Milky Way without a single clump of clouds. While my 15 degree sleeping bag certainly kept me warm, the howling screams of the winds were deafening at the edge of this rockbed jutting into the water. Meanwhile, the galaxy rose above Painted Lady and Glen Pass. Just how I like it.
