For the last few days the sunset had been either not as spectacular as it usually was or none at all, due to the ever lingering but never materialized rain storms. The light and yet constant rain persisted throughout all morning and early afternoon. As I saw the sky clearing up a little bit in the company of the sun peeking through the gaps of the clouds, I decided to hit Cabrillo Beach to see what Mother Nature had in store. The clouds never fully gave way to the sun. Hence, the window of opportunity of catching the pleasing sunset glow cast on every surface of the rocks and the water was quite limited. But it was long enough to work with.
