JMT DAY 24 - KEARSARGE LAKE AT SUNSET
Kearsarge Lake at sunset
As it got darker, I didn’t see much of light coming through. I was puzzled. The only color that I saw lingered was at the tip of the ridges that surrounded the lakes. I was quite disappointed.
I decided to focus on the reflection of the ridges and the rocks in the water as it looked so clear. The water was very clear and very cold. While part of me wished that we had arrived at the lakes earlier in the day so that I could’ve swum, I wondered how deep this particular lake was.
Then all of a sudden, the pale sky started turning pink. Then, I knew it was just a beginning.
