JMT DAY 24 - KEARSARGE LAKE AT SUNSET
Kearsarge Lake at sunset
I just made it in time to catch the orange glow hitting the tip of Kearsarge Pinnacles. And it was clear that the pale sky would be bursting into the splash of colors any time soon.
The juxtaposition of the calm water that I was able to see the bottom of the shallow part of the lake against the pending color burst over the pinnacles was just tantalizing.
As if this was the moment all I’d been waiting for...
At least, I had been waiting for this all day.
And suddenly patience is a virtue came to mind.
