Energy all around me now flows through me
DAY 3 - SOLITUDE UNDER THE STARS
SOLITUDE UNDER THE STARS
After capturing the actual hole in the wall, I quickly moved to the next spot that I had scouted earlier. It demanded a bit climbing up and down the boulders in the dark. I had my headlamp on but it wasn’t as easy with my gear as it was earlier on a broad daylight.
This giant boulder about the size of a Mini Cooper sat in the gap between these two tall walls of rocks. It was literally suspended in the air, hanging only 3-4 feet off the ground that I had earlier crawled under to get to the other side of the slope. And now I sat on it. My fingers were crossed, hoping that it never moved.
If you ever stood or sat trying to stay still for any longer than 30, no, even 15 seconds, for a shot of which you were part, you’d know how difficult that is. And I thought I did a pretty good job not moving. Apparently I didn’t.
While taking this shot though, as often as I do, I felt myself connected to the world around me. I simply let my mind wander, and soon I become part of nature. The energy all around me now flows through me. And just like that, I feel more connected to the planet that is older than anything else I know of.
